The All-Star game is proving to be a fan favorite in terms
of entertainment and betting. This is, after all, the rare opportunity for the
top players in the league to play in just two teams. And if you have a
sportsbook and you want to build your bookie business brand, then the NBA is
something that you should be offering to your players throughout the year.
And a lot of Bookie PPH sportsbooks are already taking in
action, and will continue to do so until the game itself. Especially with the line up of both Team Giannis and Team LeBron. But this year will be
a particularly interesting game, since the All-Star game is going to use a new
format. Let’s take a look at the changes that you will see this year.
New NBA All-Star Game Mechanics
·
The 1st-3rd quarters are 3
minutes each
·
After each quarter, the scoreboard resets
·
Each team will compete to win each quarter like separate
games
·
Game clock will be turned off at the start of
the 4th quarter
·
The 4th quarter will only end if the
Final Target Score is met. This will be determined by adding 24 points (In
honor of Kobe Bryant), to the score of the team with the highest cumulative
score
·
On the 4th quarter, both teams will
begin with their cumulative total scores for each quarter
·
The first team to reach the Final Target Score
will win the game.
·
The game must end with a shot
Because of the smaller games within the game, a lot of pay per head bookies have the freedom to add more betting options for their
players. Of course, prop bets will also be popular during this game, so make
sure that your sportsbook has everything fans would want to bet their money on.
