MLB Return: More Rumors

Given the safety precautions needed to be taken to ensure the safety of everyone, bringing back the MLB is not easy. Sportsbook pay per head bookies are already preparing for the changes that will happen in the league. So far, plans include a maximum of 80 games, plus a regionalized schedule. This means that the divisions within the league will now be divided geographically.

Of course, it follows that since social distancing is a priority, fans will no longer be able to watch the games in person. They can watch on tv, stream it live, and place their wagers to their bookies through an online bookie software.

MLB’s New Normal

Teams will be aiming for local games as much as possible, and games will be held within divisions only. This is to reduce travel and reduce health risks for players and staff. But more than anything, the concern will be on player safety as well as compensation.

There are rumors that MLB players may get a pay cut to compensate for the lack of ticket sales for this season, and the player union is on top of this. All parties concerned, from players to officials, want to give the fans a good season. But of course, they have to make sure that players remain safe and healthy.

MLB players are all looking forward to see what officials can come up with. Just like baseball fans and bookie pay per head operators, they only hear rumors, and nothing has been cast in stone yet. Everyone will be hearing from officials about the plan for the season within the week, so from there we can see where this season will take us.

How Are Sports Leagues Responding to the Coronavirus?

Ever since the day Rudy Gobert was confirmed to be Coronavirus positive, the sports world, league by league, slowly stopped. The NBA was just heating up to get to the playoffs, and the MLB was just about to open its season. Bookie pay per head sportsbooks started seeing less and less games, with everyone waiting for any development.

But since the pandemic has spread so horribly, sports leagues are maintaining their suspension of the league. Officials, just like anyone who is planning to be an online bookie, are finding ways to get salvage whatever they can for the year.

Sports Leagues Updates

March Madness, is college basketball. The cancellation of that opens a whole can of worms, as players will be graduating once the school year ends, and their rosters will be changing. The NBA, for now, is still not ending the season- with hopes that before summer, the season will be able to continue, albeit with changes. The same goes with the NHL.

NASCAR is postponing races, but many of these drivers are going into iRacing, something bookies will want to look into. Tennis, however, is freezing their rankings, and will move other tournaments later into the year.

The NFL is a bit safe as their season starts later in the year. The draft, however, will be on April 23. The Draft is still necessary, but officials will now hold this virtually. Kickoff for the season is scheduled for September, but it may still change.

As long as you maintain your online betting platform, you will never lose gaming options to offer to your players. You can find the really good ones if you sift through sportsbook pay per head reviews. We’d recommend that you go for a sportsbook software that also offers other gambling options so you have more to offer to your players.

What’s New in the NBA All-Star Game

The All-Star game is proving to be a fan favorite in terms of entertainment and betting. This is, after all, the rare opportunity for the top players in the league to play in just two teams. And if you have a sportsbook and you want to build your bookie business brand, then the NBA is something that you should be offering to your players throughout the year.

And a lot of Bookie PPH sportsbooks are already taking in action, and will continue to do so until the game itself. Especially with the line up of both Team Giannis and Team LeBron. But this year will be a particularly interesting game, since the All-Star game is going to use a new format. Let’s take a look at the changes that you will see this year.

New NBA All-Star Game Mechanics

·      The 1st-3rd quarters are 3 minutes each
·      After each quarter, the scoreboard resets
·      Each team will compete to win each quarter like separate games
·      Game clock will be turned off at the start of the 4th quarter
·      The 4th quarter will only end if the Final Target Score is met. This will be determined by adding 24 points (In honor of Kobe Bryant), to the score of the team with the highest cumulative score
·      On the 4th quarter, both teams will begin with their cumulative total scores for each quarter
·      The first team to reach the Final Target Score will win the game.
·      The game must end with a shot

Because of the smaller games within the game, a lot of pay per head bookies have the freedom to add more betting options for their players. Of course, prop bets will also be popular during this game, so make sure that your sportsbook has everything fans would want to bet their money on.

How To Earn Well in the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl will be on February 2, but as early as now, you should already be taking in wagers for the biggest event in the world of football. One of the highlights of the bookie business is to have a very successful Super Bowl betting run.

When going for a big win in the Super Bowl, you always have to make sure that you are offering the best odds, especially for the most popular wagers. For instance, your lines on who will win versus the Chiefs and the 49ers in the moneyline and spread should be competitive with other sportsbooks. Likewise, your over/under or totals should be very attractive for your sports bettors.

But one of the best features of sports betting software, is the ability to offer multiple betting options and lines for your players. And since the Super Bowl offers a lot of prop bets and parlays, then you can give your players an exciting betting experience.

So, when you are offering lines to your players, make sure they are aware of the wide variety of wagering options they can make. Aside from betting on scores and winning teams, they have a lot more to check out. If you look and learn from an internet gambling wiki, then you can offer odds on things that are not directly connected to the outcome of the game.

So offer wagers on in-game events, like first quarter or halftime wagers. Bet on the national anthem. Offer bets on the coin toss, on the Gatorade, and on other options you can offer on the Super Bowl. Remember, the Super Bowl is the biggest sports event that happens once a year, so make the most out of it.

Why College Sports Betting is Popular

When you learn how to become a bookie, you’ll find out what sports leagues are very popular. This usually depends on where you are. Some regions, like Europe, would be big on soccer. Canada, as another example, would have hockey as a popular sport to bet on. In the US, its more common to bet on football and basketball. Surprisingly, its not the pro leagues like the NFL or the NBA that gets more action. College sports betting actually tops the list here.

College sports betting can be tiring. There are games on a weekly basis, if not almost daily. In a single day, there are a few games people can bet on. As a bookie, it’s a bit exhausting trying to manage the different wagers in different games in the NCAA. This is where a betting software company comes in.

College Sports Betting

With a pay per head sportsbook service, you can easily put up a sportsbook and take in wagers from your players. The software comes with tools to help you change the odds, and adjust the limits of your players. With a good sportsbook software, you can also keep track of all the wagers so you know if you are making money.

This is crucial if you want to be a bookie for college sports. Sites like Easy Pay Per Head get action on wagers from NCAA football and NCAA basketball. College ball is not professional ball, which is why the dynamics of the game is a bit different. If so, then the playing behavior of the teams may vary as well.

For instance, college players do not play professionally yet. They will want to be on their best behavior of course, for scouting and drafting into professional leagues. But on the field, they will have different priorities that will depend on where they are in the rankings.

Their emotional maturity is also somewhat different to professional athletes. Pros are better at brushing off losses, so college sports may have more trends in terms of streaks. College athletes tend to be more careful as well, so you won’t see much heroics that can risk a career-ending injury so early on in their careers.

There are more factors that makes college sports stand out. But the bottom line, is that this creates better value for bettors. In turn, this gets more action for bookies. On both sides, you are looking at the potential for profit, even more than some pro sports leagues in the US.
