How Are Sports Leagues Responding to the Coronavirus?

Ever since the day Rudy Gobert was confirmed to be Coronavirus positive, the sports world, league by league, slowly stopped. The NBA was just heating up to get to the playoffs, and the MLB was just about to open its season. Bookie pay per head sportsbooks started seeing less and less games, with everyone waiting for any development.

But since the pandemic has spread so horribly, sports leagues are maintaining their suspension of the league. Officials, just like anyone who is planning to be an online bookie, are finding ways to get salvage whatever they can for the year.

Sports Leagues Updates

March Madness, is college basketball. The cancellation of that opens a whole can of worms, as players will be graduating once the school year ends, and their rosters will be changing. The NBA, for now, is still not ending the season- with hopes that before summer, the season will be able to continue, albeit with changes. The same goes with the NHL.

NASCAR is postponing races, but many of these drivers are going into iRacing, something bookies will want to look into. Tennis, however, is freezing their rankings, and will move other tournaments later into the year.

The NFL is a bit safe as their season starts later in the year. The draft, however, will be on April 23. The Draft is still necessary, but officials will now hold this virtually. Kickoff for the season is scheduled for September, but it may still change.

As long as you maintain your online betting platform, you will never lose gaming options to offer to your players. You can find the really good ones if you sift through sportsbook pay per head reviews. We’d recommend that you go for a sportsbook software that also offers other gambling options so you have more to offer to your players.
