There is a bill that aims to legalize sports betting in Kentucky. Once thought of as a doomed attempt to allow sports betting, will now finally get another chance at being heard in the Senate. The bill will go through two readings, and will hopefully lead to the voting in the upper chamber. The voting, however, will not happen until next month when lawmakers will return from a 10-day recess.
House Bill 606, which is sponsored by Rep Adam Koenig passed in the House with a 58030 vote early in March. This bill allows horse racing tracks to partner with a sports betting operator to give both on-site and mobile sports betting.
